This pendant is pure whimsey!

I like ammonite fossils, most people when they make jewelry with them wrap a thick metal rim around them which completely overpowers the fossil. I chose instead to just highlight the fossil with a lapis cabuchon, and secure the chain loop by drilling the fossil and epoxying in a silver post. Simple, subtle, and it really lets the fossil stand out, while the lapis accents it and increases the accessorizing options.
